Visible damage is written on initial estimate for the benefit of the customer and electronically submitted to the insurance company.
Vehicle is inspected for prior damage and/or flaws. Customer is advised to remove personal belongings. Check-in is signed and dated along with check-in photos.
The initial estimate is used as initial authorization for repairs. If customer requires rental assistance Enterprise Rent-a-Car is onsite to help. Authorization to begin repairs is signed and vehicle goes directly to the repair shop. External parts are removed to inspect for additional unseen damage from the initial estimate. Upon tear down vehicle is inspected for additional damage to insure an efficient repair process. Additional damages are sent to the insurance company and customer for approval. Minor repairs begin, but major repairs wait for parts to arrive to allow for proper installation and fit. The first step in the paint process is to mask and prep the raw and repaired metal. Second is to mask the vehicle for primer. To guarantee the best possible color match the paint code is mixed and tinted to match the exact color of your vehicle. The vehicle is now ready to be painted in our climate controlled spraying and baking booth. Vehicle is sent back to the body shop where the body men re-assemble your vehicle taking great care to get everything back to pre-loss condition. Our detail department takes over from here, inspecting for flaws in the paint or clear coat. The fresh paint is buffed to give it a perfect finish and your vehicle is washed inside & out. With inspections being a continuous part of our process the final inspection is simply that; our final go around for quality control. With everything in order the insurance company is notified of the status and success of the repairs and setup for final billing. Customer is notified that the vehicle is in pre-loss condition and pick-up date/time is scheduled.Repair Updates
